my wife and I stopped in on the recommendation of the owner of the local Woollen Mill in town and loved our short stay over a couple of pints of Guinness and hot whiskey. Loved the genuine traditional Irish Pub atmosphere and the unique layout. The toilets were mentioned in another recent review and one doesn't usually comment on toilets unless they are really bad... but Mick Doyle's have taken cleanliness and smart toilets (for a pub) to a whole new level. The bar lady was also very helpful and welcoming. Really worth a visit when in town.

Always a great experience in Doyle's. Pat is an excellent host/owner, making sure he is front of house and serving all customers and has a personal touch, aswell as a team of excellent bar staff which will go above and beyond. Making sure every customers needs are met to an exceptional standard. Facilities are excellent with a building rich in history which is displayed all around,Doyle's also holds local concerts in an excellent venue in there barn conversion upstairs, which absolutely sets the mood for an amazing evening, well recommended for all occasions, gorgeous venue with separate areas for occasions of all types, aswell as the creamiest pint of Guinness and the coldest fizziest pints of lager and cider, Doyle's is amazing for any occasion 😊

Classic country pub atmosphere. Good drinks, friendly staff, no food. They’ll have the game showing.

Entering this bar/shop is like stepping back in time, we should be grateful to the owners for staying true to its tradition. While the bar shop may be a reflection of times past the facilities are excellent and immaculately clean. The area outside the back of the bar looks extremely well, and only needs good weather to make it a nice place to sit and relax. Before I finish I must mention the staff, welcoming, friendly and attentive. Overall 'Mick Doyles' take a bow.

This is a pub that I could go to again and again, has recently been refurbished with great care, so you have the old part, which is beautiful not changed, and the modern new part which is great too. The new toilets have to be seen to believe absolutely brilliant idea what they have done. I'm not saying it alone is worth a visit. Well done, we will be back soon 👍 😀
